Bright Stripes

Small bursts of bright color are an easy and unintimidating way to introduce bolder hues to home décor. Stripes, especially larger swaths situated against simple neutrals, aren’t just for clothing. Use stripes to add a little color blocking to your bedroom, kitchen or living space, and it will feel like special design flourish to accentuate all that spring cleaning.

Cobalt or cerise stripes, in both an array or as a single center stripe, are a great way to bring new life to simple white chairs.

Brightly striped carpet tiles are a fun way to liven up small areas, like in the office around the desk, or in a laundry room.

Sophisticated, simple white ceramic vases and bowls are beautiful when decorated with colorful, linear designs. Arranged together or alone on a counter or shelf, they warm up spaces and make them more welcoming.

Striped throws and pillows are easy adornments for neutral bedroom furniture. Try adding one into the mix with Hillsdale Furniture’s Springfield headboard. The headboard features a sleek, modern design boasting clean lines and a lot of style.  It is fully upholstered in black or brown vinyl, making it versatile enough to match many design aesthetics and styles, and perfect for a little linear color inspiration.
